The boy doesn't play bass, but...

Well, I mean, he might be one of those kids with the billion lessons a week. (A kid with that kind of guitar is not self-taught.) The only difference this time is it's guitar instead of violin or piano.

Not to knock the kid's skills (because he is really good), but if my parents bought me an Alembic and had me take tons of lessons when I was a wee child, I'm sure I'd be pretty damn good, too.

Of course, on the other hand, he could actually be a prodigal child and all the nice stuff is after the fact. I have no contention with this.

Anyway, I don't want to start an argument over this, I'm just chiming in my opinion after the initial awe.
