It's not a melon, but it's easy to grow...papaya. Have 6 trees in the yard now & they produce more fruit than we can possibly eat.

Anyway... I love good cantaloupe, but it can be difficult to find. Same as tomatoes, you pretty much have to buy locally grown, otherwise you're gonna get cardboard.
