I guesss the more things change...Setting aside the practical/logistical/safety concerns of the suite of modifications necessary for this particular aesthetic (pic below for the uninitiated), I just don't understand why someone would wanna make their truck look like a dog going about its business.

My theory is, there is a "look at me" aspect for people who aren't musical, artistic, athletic, etc.
I've known a few athletes and musicians who put effort into making their vehicles individual but nothing like the squat guys or the angley wheel guys.
Just a theory tho.
