I've heard of some school districts that have sadly eliminated their school departments due to to public funding. Fortunately I have yet to see an example of this in my State. States with very low to no income taxes or allocations from property taxes are where we see this most often.

Now here's the case for keeping Music Education in schools. Keep on Studying!

That is probably the best advantage of me taking bass lessons as a senior citizen.

We've known about music's positive effect on brain development for years, but school administrators too often seem to possess deaf ears.

I am not convinced it's administrators that are defunding music departments
