The 'cheap' flea bass... the anti-fail slapper!

Well there has been some flea bass bashing, so I'm going to describe how I felt about it.

It was very well built!

Specs:

-Soapbar-bucker thing
-matching headstock
-smiley face on headstock
-drawn picture of teeth with a gap in between the two front teeth
-high mass bridge
-rosewood on a flame maple neck

Well having a gap I thought the drawing was funny. I always play RHCP's cover of higher ground to test the slapping on a bass, it not only passed the sound test but the feel test also! It has an extreamly thin neck, and I normally like think pbass necks but I can honestly see myself using this bass and maybe a pbass for a 7 month tour. It played and sounded extreamly well pick style and finger style.

I love it! The short scale is the exact same but shorter LOL!

I can't justify spending $600 on it, I have basses on my major gas list that I could buy with that kinda money.

Over all a freakin awesome bass!

What colors have you seen them in? i am just afraid the colors look different in real life i would buy one maybe for 300$.

Look used. It is in a cool watermellon color, black, blue... can't member the others. But I do member thinking "dayum, they look just like the internet pics!" So whatever you see, that's the color

I personally think you shouldve played a slap line other than higher ground or any rhcp.

thats just bias. :D

Haha It's sorry but it's the only slapping cover song I know!
