The colonoscopy thread!

Piece of cake! :D

The prep wasn't nearly as violent as I thought it would be and the procedure itself was painless. All I can remember from it was a voice telling me to breathe, which apparently was one of the nurses.

They told me what I have, but I can't remember because I was doped up. It's nothing serious though.

Thanks for the support !

It's a laugh a minute. I had an upper and lower on the same day.
I told the doctor, "I don't know which end you're going to do first, but remember to wipe that thing off
between ends."

Now, a cytoscopy, that's a whole different beast.
Ask your doctor for one. Be sure not to Google it before you do.
cytoscopy - damn that sounds painful !
my father had that procedure done a few years back ,
he said it was like a square peg in a round hole ... yow!

BTW, i had both endoscopy and colonoscopy done last year {bleeding ulcers},
and that Fleet stuff aint lyin' ...
you better be ready to do some serious squatting ...

well, i'm going in for mine tomorrow. i finished drinking like 2 litres of that stuff and dealing with the consequences of that and i'm about to get to bed... i'm going under a general so i won't even know whats going on...

don't wanna get of track in this thread but i'm only young i guess and i've stupidly made myself sick from stress, bad hours: gigging late and uni the next day and eating heaps of bad fast food after gigs. mostly hungry jacks. i kinda got addicted. stupid. now if i eat anything that isn't 'healthy' i feel terrible.
had my first ever krispy kreme donut the other day (we just got them here in melbourne australia:D ) i knew i would feel like s##t but i wanted to try it. bad move, felt sick for a couple a days, just from that damn donut. well wonder what they'll find tomorrow!

on the bright side, eating only healthy food and sleeping more and not drinking any alcohol, i have so much more energy, i'm not as stressed and i feel like practising again!
