I sold the nice playing and thick sounding Cort Action DLX V today.......
The reason is she has a BANANA NECK !!!!
This is the second bass has neck issue after the Ibanez SR300E.
Both neck are very sensitive with just a tiny bit temperature change or room humid change.

Congratulations, gorgeous bass!
I was thinking about buying a Cort A5 Plus Single Cut.
I can't decide if I should go for the multiscale or the 34".
I would be tuning it E-C.
Do you notice any difficulties playing on the higher frets, because of the multiscale? How about with chords?
I'm a little scared about those 35.5", but the price on these is very tempting.
Could you please confirm if the string spacing is 16mm at the bridge and 45mm at the nut?
Also, can anybody tell me what os the string spacing on the A5 34"? At the bridge and at the nut? I can't find it anywhere.

The A5 parallel fret (both dual and new to this year the single cut) are using Hipshot Trans Tone bridge, which AFAIK is available only in 18 mm string spacing.
If you're going to use it with high-C, I suggest getting the parallel fret one. Cause you probably would want to use it for chords which I find is still easier on a parallel fretted bass than on a fanned fret one.

I think Aidil has answered the questions on the specific new model you asked about much better than I could (as the model you asked about has a different bridge to mine).
Adjusting to the fanned frets (both single notes and chords) took me maybe less than a week of playing every day, it was quite easy & feels natural now.

I am a happy owner of another Cort Masterpiece (ABMP-2), difficult to complain about them
The ABMP-2 basses look nice too - Can't wait until mine arrives ! I have seen a few Cort basses but never this 2000 model especially here in the US , The few online reviews that I had to translate were all positive and all say it is a quality built bass ...I am a happy owner of another Cort Masterpiece (ABMP-2), difficult to complain about them
They built only few and likely sold even less - they were not cheap, and who buys a good bass from a brand known for cheap basses? So not many around, but well built, beautiful wood, good electronics (mine has Seymour Duncan + Aguilar), and, now, cheap too
Thinking of picking up a GB54JJ. I like the 70s Jazz basses but don't like the weight - can any Cort owners tell me how much their Jazz weighs?
Yep. I'm sure the weight varies but with a wide strap, and the balance, it's not too bad
it sounds sooooo good now with the mods / upgrades.
volume, balance passive treble, bass cut circuit (ala G&L)
Seymour QP neck , Aguilar DCB-M5 bridge.
Replaced the saddles with Hipshot kickass units.
Here's my electro-acoustic beauty: Cort SJB5F NS. NS means Natural Satin.
Bought it anew 10 years ago from Jam Music for ~$300, mostly for campfire jams, but turned out this bass is good for some folkish gigs, too. My avatar shows me doing some klezmer stuff with it.
Has a lovely deep tone, and is nice to play. I douple-taped a pic holder on the body near 21st fret, so I have a thumb rest there.
I don't know if club numbers are still being given, but if so, I'd gladly have one.
