Kinda felt a lil like that...Respect?
Not true. I will qualify this with saying that it was of course a punk show, but it just so happened to be an all ages show. So the band was asked to remove some of the vulgarity. So when time comes for the f word spasm in the middle of one of my favorite songs, just a few hard bass drums hits and some bass grind. So disappointing, actually made the show a little lackluster. But I'm also one of the people with almost zero filter and no concern level of what people think of me, so YMMV.
Fair enough. But even you can admit you are very much in the minority, right? I'm not even saying that makes you "wrong". Like what you like. But there aren't enough of you to warrant requiring every front man to blurt F bombs during live shows.
I'll probably die texting while driving, so my last words will be immortalized in silicon, to be etched on my tombstone:
F*** That! LO

I use the word on a semi regular basis, when in the right company. NEVER on stage. HIGHLY unprofessional. I'm far from a prude, but I'm not stupid.

For better or worse, your singer's decision to use it or not affects the way your band is perceived.

I hate it when the lead singer says "fart" on stage![]()
To be fair and hes probably right, He could shoot someone and wouldnt lose his voters
our lead singer has a tendency to drop the bomb at least once a gig...mind you it's always in a bar setting with no children present but I still find myself having a problem with it...
Am I being a bit too 'get off my lawn' about it..?
I feel like if we're getting paid to play they want music...if they wanted vulgarities they would have hired a stand up comic...
