Nice stack! I see that the 210 has switchable impedance. I’m not great with this stuff, but does that mean running it on 12 ohms it would match with the Fender 410 at 8 ohms?

Just curious is there a regular Fender bassman club? Oh yeah the guitar players stole them allI have an excellent condition 67 silverface head and cab that sounds great although I've only taken it out of my bedroom once for a gig in a small room and it actually did very well for itself. I normally use Ampegs but started out with Bassman's and Dual Showman's and still really like the sound of them.

Sorry for the very late reply, just saw this, but yes-- with the Two10 at 12 ohms, and the Four10 or in your case Fender 410 at 8 ohms, the resulting load is, IIRC, about 4.67 ohms. I just used the Two10+Four10 stack last night, great. The Two10s (the newest version which is switchable 4/12) is a very versatile cab and especially in conjunction with an 8 ohm 4x10. You can run it alone for small to medium gigs, and with a 4x10 for bigger gigs.
It is - 2007 MIK Skyline w/Barts. Spectacular. The others are < 100 USA’s. Really dig all of their unique, old school vibes through the SB. The cab is a sealed Berg 2x12. They’re all just perfect for each other. I guess this is as close to a Love Triangle as I’ll ever get
Yes, of course, I remember welcoming you there some months ago. But, I was wondering if @Bassndrums73 was asking the same question by posting a copy of your question.
I had my first issue with my Super Bassman head today (Bought new 3 years ago, still on original tubes).
Practice spot was hot & humid, played with band for an hour, then took 15 minute break.
I left the amp on as always, as I like my tubes hot. Came back and went into a song, all sound cut out, amp lights were still on, including bias lights showing tubes were ok.
The amp did seem hotter than usual, and some tubes were glowing blue instead of usual amber glow, no burning smell though.
Turned amp off and checked all connections, turned back on, still no sound.
Took amp home, allowed to cool, plugged in and amp is working fine, tubes glowing their usual amber color. The unusual thing was bias control was showing a “cool” setting ( yellow light) when I almost always have it in the middle (green light).
I’ve been running through the 10 different temperature settings and the amp is biasing and running fine.
Does anyone know if this amp has a thermal protection mode? Never heard of a tube amp having that but I can’t figure out what else could have happened since everything seems to be working fine now.

I had my SB out for an outdoor gig last night. Had my Fender Road Worn P with my new Pure Vintage 63 pickups installed.

@FronTowardEnemy interested in your thoughts on the Uber 410T and the SB300, if you please wouldn’t mind? There’s an Uber 410T for sale in my area that may be worth a look. My concern is that it will have too much bottom end for my liking. My main cab is an NV610 and I want something in a smaller form factor. NV610 is controlled in the lows whereas I’ve read reviews about the Uber being massive in the lows. Thanks.
Got me beat. Is it still under warranty? No faults with leads etc? I've used mine in pretty much every weather condition going.
Was 2° in a shed where we gigged once, has been 37° (C) too, and I've had no issues.
I'd be either calling Fender service or my tube amp tech.

I had trouble with my SB300 a few years back, where it would become unreliable and cut out after maybe an hour of playing. After much investigation into a possible auto bias issue (which it wasn’t), it turned out to be an unstable connection between the preamp out, power amp in socket. As it heated up the connection would fail.
I think the socket was replaced or cleaned?? Can’t recall. But the head has ran without fault since.
@HOOLIGAN Next time it faults perhaps try inserting a jumper cable across preamp out to power amp in.
