Same when I use the Bassman Neo 115. Just stick the Super Bassman 300 on top and wheel em in.
Gregmon- if you're into P basses the vintage channel is simply sublime with one. Ain't nuthin wrong with the modern channel either, but thick tubey goo is that vintage side. It's a thing of beauty.

I in fact have rediscovered my P live and in the mix again and I couldn't be happier. Well, as soon as I get the SBM 300, I'll be MUCH happier. Oh man I can't wait! Why can't I have 2 grand in my pocket right now?

About to pull the trigger on this baby, can anyone shed some light on the quality of the DI signal. On one video I've watched the guy said "silent" mode is post power amp? Is this correct? How does the tone compare to say a standard DI or preamp DI?

This may be a dumb question, but... how do you get the max clean headroom from this amp? Do you push the channel volume hard and go easy on the master - or the other way around - or???

Was on a gig recently and got a bit of distortion working when I was digging in. Not sure if I was over-driving the preamp tubes (which is what it sounded like) as opposed to over-driving the power tubes. I don't think I was pushing the amp hard enough to overdrive the power tubes.

Thoughts?

Finally played mine with a full band. Sounded great with the bass. Thick and warm but still provides nice mids. Playing it through a Berg NV115.

On a side note, when you're transporting speaker cabs do you usually put the speaker side down or up. Someone was telling me it should be speaker side down when you lay it down.

Manufacturers often ship their speakers to OEM's with the speakers oriented one up one down like below. If the manufacturers do this, it shows that you don't need to be concerned.

Thanks for the help! I've been lugging my 410 around for years speakers up and never had a problem. Couldn't really see how it would matter and glad to hear it doesn't really. Thanks again!

Not sure if I posted this yet . . .

The crease across the grill cloth was from putting it in the dryer (trying to warm it up to stretch better). I have since ironed out the crease.

I've searched the forums for answer to this question but can't find it. If its out there, can someone send me a link.

Any recs on a case for the Super Bassman 300 and 6X10 cab? Nothing super fancy just something affordable.
