Yamaha TRB-5IIF. 5 piece bolt on neck with a rosewood board and brass fretmarkers. 35" scale. I've had a love/hate kinda relationship with it. Annoyingly, I seem to be able to play faster on it than any other instrument. So I guess I should keep it.

Treat yourself. They just came back in stock at MF. The best fretless for a rock player. The unlined neck scared me for a moment but that moment past quickly as soon as I held it in my hands. Thank you Tony Franklin, the best fretless Fender makes maybe after the Jaco relic. And, the best fretless P.

Wow... crazy small world...even the TB world! Where does your ProjectTF bass stand these days?

Mine is supposed to stay at the firehouse, but I've taken it home twice already on my "Kelley Days" when I get 4 days in a row off. The whole point of buying it was so I wouldn't be lugging one around. But it sounds and plays so good!!
