I'm in! I just got a Squier Vintage Modified Fretless Jazz and I LOVE it. I have always loved the sound of fretless but I've been too intimidated to try to learn how to play one. The Squier is a perfect fit for me, not too pricey but still a quality bass.

Yep - I had a great experience with Harris Thor almost 2 years ago.

He restored a couple of inlays on my fretless which had been lost due to planing of the board, did some odd bits of other work on it for me, then did an excellent epoxy job on it.

This all took some time of course, but Harris kept me updated and was always "there" to answer any email questions I had for him... both before and after. Excellent customer service!

Can't say enough good things about Mr. Thor!!


p.s. - just "fyi", on his main homepage one of the inlay restorations is at the bottom of the page in "Before" and "After" pix.

Then if you go to his "Testimonials" page and do a "Find" on Seattle you'll see the bass itself along with my comments (Harris took that photo when his work was done and shipped the bass back to me; the bass body has since had the old, old yellowish nitro finish removed and "re-shot" darker & much nicer at Mike Lull's.)

The deck is ok.. I think the red Brinkman smoker is real kewl,it's been 'dialed in' just right, just my opinion....
