Ibanez uploaded some nice pictures of the Bass Player Live 2014 and they added Ibanez SR basses with P pickups, plus another fanned fret bass. What do you think?

If that's the only finish they'll offer for the 4 string version I'll pass. I love Ibanez but I hate how they only offer one finish, two if you're lucky, per model.

True, though the 4 string basses aren't as popular anymore as the 5 and 6 string basses. Maybe that's a part as well..
