The GB shuttle waiting room

I ordered one, a Blem, this morning from Music123 at a nice discount. In addition, they are offering a extra $100 off for purchases in that price range, resulting in a good bottom line price for a unit with a new warranty. Now, their site shows out of stock altogether. Hope the blem is minor. I once bought a Blem Washburn bass from them, and the defect was a very small ding on the back, easily filled and painted.

Is anyone using a Carvin BRX2.10 NEO with theirs? I'd be interested in impressions of such a combination.

It's Finally here! After 8 long weeks my Shuttle 6.0 arrived yesterday. It was a long wait, but the price from Michael at Ye Old Music Shoppe was worth it. He had a MUCH better price than anywhere else I found. I haven't played with it much, but I loved what I did hear of it with my SR5. I have a rehearsal tomorrow and an outdoor wedding gig on Friday. We'll see how she does. :hyper:

I think for the most part the back log is over. They're still out of stock on a lot of sites, though. It's a hot item and for good reason.
I sold my SM-500 for this thing and I'm more than happy. The SM-500 is a good head, but I had to tweak a lot to get a good tone. I just plug into the Shuttle and good tone abounds. :D

Consider the Shuttle to be a backup to the TF. In fact, pull out the fuse of the TF right now and experience life without a backup. "Look honey the amp died, and I need a cost effective yet sonically brilliant replacement". With enough acting practice I'm sure you can pull it off!

I got mine about 3 weeks ago. The first gig I did with it (the day after I got it) was outdoors in a park. I couldn't believe how loud that little thing was! I'm still working on dialing in my sound, but it's so small, lightweight and compact that I cannot imagine going back to lugging around a 4 space SKB case with amp & preamp.

So I used my Shuttle 6 for rehearsal last Thursday and an outdoor wedding gig on Friday night. I was so happy with the sound coming from this tiny thing. It pushed my Goliath Jr 210 like it's never been pushed before. It sounds much more punchy than my SM-500 ever did. This is the first time in many years that I have used a new head and loved the sound after trying it the first time with no tweaking. After tweaking a bit it sounded even better! I, for one, will have a hard time ever toting around a heavy rack with a 25lb head in it again. :rollno:
In short, I love the Shuttle and hats off to the GB guys for packing a killer head with tons of features in a tiny package.

Now all I need is a lighter cab...:ninja:

Thanks to all the TB guys too! I would have never considered this head without such great reviews from all of you! TB is a great resource!
