Ok,who's got one? I'm about ready drop the hammer on one of these to do 90% of my gigs with. Just want to know your overall impressions of sound quality. I'll be using MM basses,and my wonderful Thunderfunk head.Thanks!

The Genz Benz NEOX 212T

I have one. It's a very nice cab. It sounds good with my Shuttle 6.0, GK 1001RB-II, iAmp 500, and my Ampeg SVT-II (non pro). It just works well with a lot of amps.
I like the idea of this cab, seems to be the ultimate portable/power answer. Just wish I could try one before buying.
Go for it man, you won't be dissapointed. I got one a while back and have used it at medium sized clubs - sometimes with PA, sometimes without - with either a shuttle 6.0, or a gbe1200....but I've never had a problem. I think punchy and full describe it best - especially with a p-bass~!
I hear lots of good things about The NeoX 212s.
If you're looking at buying new, you might also consider the Uber 212. I picked one of those after trying out just about every cab in Atlanta Bass Gallery. The decision was based on sound alone -- it doesn't look or sound lightweight but it very manageable.

Love it. Very evenly voiced with plenty of bottom and a present mid range. Light, loud, and it fits in the trunk of my wife's Ford Focus. I rock the Uber 410 now for band reasons (thicker low-mids work better for this band), but before that I gigged with the NEOX-212/GBE 1200 combination and it sounded great. This cab is a keeper.
Best cabinet I have ever owned (out of around 20). Handles any head I have ran through it and loud as hell. Also does well w/ lower wattage loads. Mine has had beer spilled on it and in it, been dropped down a flight of stairs, knocked off stages, and god knows what else. I've had to replace the casters and feet in 5 years and that's it.
I have tried bigger and smaller cabs when GAS strikes and I always end up back with the 212T.

Mint GB 212T for sale allways used in my smoke free studio wheels look new,never been dropped down stairs or had beer spilled on it $???.

I like the vertical height compared to the single Avatar 12 that I have,the GB just seems to work well for many reasons.
The only draw back to its odd size is that it doesnt stack well with others.

I'm not worried about stacking,I have an SVT to cover that.This is going to cover all the other gigs where stage space is a premium.And we do a lot of those! I like the verticle orientation of the drivers too.Gets it up just a bit higher.Think it would work well with the Music Man,Thunderfunk setup?

I reviewed the NEOX212-T back in issue #1, and I think it is an excellent cabinet that can cover a lot of ground, and cover it well.

I use one all the time...great cab with a lot of sonic flexibility...and it's relatively light and easy to move around.

I've been quite satisfied with my Neox 212t. It's fat and punch yet doesn't seem to have a lot of coloration to it. I'm not ready to say it's 'hi-fi' sounding because it does have a little bit of push in the midrange that makes sure you're heard. It pushes a decent amount of air and along with my GBE750 is my 'gig-rig' of choice.

+1 for considering an Uber 212 as well. I believe the Uber is voiced a little bit lower, (more oomph), but also nice and even all the way to the top.
I'm going to look at this one too. I'm planning on getting a Shuttle 6.0 before the end of the year and getting a GB cab to go with it.
