Even just the ETDI into the Quilter with nothing else sounds great to me

It's sure to be for a no fuss, great sounding easy set up. I wish I still had both. I sold the BB before I got the ETDI but I can imagine it being pretty good.

That sounds really good. Just watched his demo. He's playing thru an amp that should sound really warm regardless, but adding one into his chain made a significant difference.

Here's another one I'm curious about as I've been a long time Aguilar fan. Just got an email about the DB925 saying it's now available. Add another to the G.A.S. list. Lol

Ooh, boy. I just got the Edison about five minutes ago and it is gooey and good. I was concerned about what sort of volume I'd end up with at the gain setting I preferred on it, but it turns out it does just what I was looking for it to do at as close to unity as makes no difference. That is awesome! We'll see how long the honeymoon lasts, but I can definitely forsee this thing being an always on. Like an always always always on. I can't really imagine a scenario in which I wouldn't want the subtle compression and fatness it is adding. Pretty stoked!

The NuX and Bass Box are probably the 2 that do it for me currently. Big price difference though when comparing in Australian Dollars. The Coupons are for US only sadly.

Nope there's not much info or a release date yet but it has been confirmed. So definitely a patience game.

I came across this video the other day while looking at Preamps. They all sound really good - but the one that piqued my interest was the the London S-Pre. I wish I had the know how to do what he has. looks like you only purchase the Pre itself but he has added a DI etc.

The Demeter does it for me in this video. Can you get that in a pedal format?

I think I've decided on swapping out the qstrip on my board for a torpedo cab m. It will get me the power amp sim and impulses freeing up dsp on hx fx. It still has a 5 band parametric eq on board and di. Can any one see anything I'd lack from the qstrip that I can't do between my hx fx and the cab m?

Yes. Sounds great. Cant compare it to the noble but its sort of the same concept. Hand built.

Sounds good. Same concept as the Sadowsky. But I believe the only difference is the treble on the sadowsky is 5 K where the aguilar is 4 k. Love simple eq.
