The Hunt is Over!

For over three years, I have been playing bass on either a '84 Peavey Foundation (a nice bass but the neck is uncomfortable for me) and an upside-down '70 something Fender p-bass (also uncomfortable, and sometimes inconvenient due to the fact that i am playing it reversed). The p-bass' pickup is "upgraded," but I don't care for it much and the frets are pretty worn down. So for almost two years, I have been patiently and religiously searching eBay, craigslist, and any other website for my next bass, as well as reading/watching reviews on forums, gear websites, and youtubes. After all this time, I finally pulled the trigger on one. It is shipping from across the country so now I must wait (not so patiently) while FedEx brings it over. I landed a left handed Ibanez SR 1205E in great condition for $845.00. Super excited for it to get hear, full review and pictures will be up when it arrives! Still kind of in shock that I actually bought a bass after all this time. Cheers!

hi, i have used this bass for one gig (my bass needed some repair work) and i remember it having a very tight sound and feel.. and i think you got a good deal too considering the quality of wood and electronics that the sr1205E brings.. so, great choice, and best of luck
