What kind of "stones" does it take to make a nearly anonymous post on an Internet forum slagging people you never met?

I've never posted our singer here myself. To be truthful she isn't my opinion of a hot chick but she can sing. At the end of the day, the latter is the more important part.

Seriously, people are people. Some people are beautiful on the outside. For those that are passionate about music and performing, the pictures show that they are definitely beautiful on the inside thus making them 'HOT' by default.

Well, I checked my Paypal account and it's still at zero. Doesn't look like I'll be able to fill in on cajon for Pklima's gig tonight. But, I'd appreciate it if who ever is playing the cajon tonight will post a pic of his view of the singer. Actually, a video would be nicer.

That's the truth...even the ones that men perceive as gorgeous in their business or casual attire will have a "flaw" or two...but nobody is perfect (I'm ceratinly not). And, I use the word flaw in an exagerated manner.

Ok, my name is Jeff, I'm 37, I live in Santa Clarita CA with my wife and 2 step kids. I've been playing bass since I was 16. I work in IT for a company that would rather I don't mention their name, but I'll give you a hint: they make loud things that fly in the sky and kill people. My pastimes include play music, paintball, computer games.
That way we aren't so anonymous.

Technically I didn't slam anyone. As a matter of fact I purposely didn't mention or pick on any one particular woman because that would be cruel.
My point is that people sometimes have a blind spot due to emotional connections or familiarity. If your lead singer is a regular gal, cool, whatever make you money. But if a thread says "Hot singerBabe" and you post a picture of a woman you have worked with, you are essentially putting her up for judgement. She may be normally average, which is fine, 80% of people are average, but don't try to pass off average as "hot" because you know someone or are trying to self advertise.

With that I apologize for having derailed the thread.

There is truth to these time-honored sayings. "Hot singerbabe" is thus an objective term. This thread was begun to separate our bandmates from our audience, as far as the whole "Chicks at Shows" thing is concerned. While there are some genuine stunners involved with those designated as charter members (initial or honorary) of this club (myself included), it's really all about visually celebrating those with whom we work, and might otherwise bed, if not for the working relationship. Of course, the working relationship, in and of itself, is not necessarily an inhibitor .

Let those who criticize say what they will. The dominant component of their output is jealousy. An update of this club's roster is long overdue, on my part, but, given how things have evolved, it may be time to make it self-service. I have no intention of continuing this thread, in a Part 2, when we reach page 50. That is a ball for someone else to carry. It is enough that I have remained at the helm of Chicks at Shows (despite a declared intention to let someone else spearhead it), which has been languishing, lately.

Enjoy and honor those around you. Never hesitate to express appreciation, when you can, and when it is truly warranted. Life is already short enough, and we may never pass this way again (no apologies to Seals & Croft). Instead of insulting those for trying to promote or augment the beauty around themselves, try doing the same, within your own realm. Make the world a better place.
