Here's my 2 Ibanez basses. The GSR200 is what got me playing again 4 years ago after seventeen years without a bass. The EDB405 was an early Christmas gift from the wife and I love it. I gave the GSR to my son for Christmas so he can get serious about playing.

Hi Roon, I got mine from euro store "playback" The model was discontinued in europe after 04 i think, but they still had some in stock last tome i looked. Picked mine up for £250 (think that might of been a pricing mistake 'cos they shot straight up to £400ish the next week!)
Not sure how much of a deal that would be after costing in shipping & taxes to down under though.

Wow, what a silly price. For 5 k i would rather go with a seventies Fender P.
Some people are so ridiculous.

Yeah, it is 2 inches closer to neck than the standard fender P bass. Makes for a more woofy tone, good for dub and the like.

Its a clear pickguard, and I made a design on some paper and cut it to the pickguard and slid it under I have a few other interchagable designs to keep things fresh if I get bored with the looks.

I'm not sure there is enough clarity in the pictures to show, but I had roundwound strings on it. I've recently changed to flatwounds, and I love them!
