The Accu-Cast B200 and B205 bass bridges allow two styles of string installation.
(Figure 1)
The strings are installed by lowering the ball end into the bridge and hooking the ball end below the string catch at the rear of the bridge.
(Figure 2)
To increase string tension and add sustain the strings can be installed by lowering the ball end into the bridge and holing the string catch directly below the saddle.

Fig 2. is pretty much like string through without it actually stringing through. You still get that harsh angle than wraps over the bridge.
