Yes Trayster2 sr500qm it is,,, i have had two ibbys before the first was a shortscale in the mid 80s,, and the second was a soundgear ,, early mid 90s,, it flat out plays better than both ,, it is just a better overall bass IMO,,pups,, preamp all of it,, and the thing looka like its on fire ,, but i have noticed not all the sr500qm's look the same.

craigslist find...SR480 Active P/J with strap(meh) strap locks and a nice, well padded gig bag for $150. Had some electronics issues but after soldering the positive wire back where it belonged and cleaning the pots, no more issues :) Sounds great, plays well and looks pretty good!:bassist:

Last weekend I was just browsing at a local music store I hadn't been in for years. I wasn't looking to buy anything & I saw this beauty hanging on the wall - it was preowned but in beautiful condition (less a couple of scratches on the backside). I already own an ATK Premium 5-string, and so the Ibanez brand has been back on my radar after many, many years. I recalled an SR bass that I owned 20yrs ago & noticed that this was an entry level SR that seemed to have CAP pickups (similar to the CAP's found in my ATK 805). That alone caught my attention. I had to try it - yep, blown away! The tone is fantastic - very punchy, lots of air on top, BIG tight lows. Just really, really nice. The 3-band EBQ-IIID EQ is very nice! I love Ibanez' CAP pickups. I'm digging the tone a whole lot.

Got a number already. Just wanted to show this one off. My SR605. I picked this one up last December an is my main gigging bass (my SRX505 doesn't get used as much since my metal band is on a bit of a hiatus at the moment....plus it's tuned ADGCF).

Hey,

Finally movied from a Jaguar SS to my first full fledged, full scale bass; and Ibanez SR750. I'm disabled and mobility impaired, so my entire family pulled together to get this for me. Having fun with my Line 6 UX2. Next wish Tone Hammer Pedal.

The mount for your A string looks bent on your bridge. Not really sure what could do that as there pretty solid. I'd recommend replacing that bridge.
