that's so weird, its like looking at my bass's long lost twin. I've never seen another one with a maple board before.

How do you feel about the olive-greening of your bass? I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed, and almost wonder if it's some sort of "defect"...worthy of raising a stink about...however...I love this bass so much that I wouldn't want to do anything to it at this point (or lose it), so I've been tolerating it and slowly growing to love the new color.

Yup...seems to be mainly Fenders from the mid-late 90's. Mine was green within 3-4 years. You can see it in my photo above. There's nothing remotely Silver about that body at all anymore...well, other than the hardware.

It doesn't bother me. But I didn't buy it new, and I don't know that I'd have bought a silver bass to begin with. I like that its a unique color, the only thing I don't like about it is that all the pickguards I've tried so far look equally "blah" on it.

Here's one of my old beaters.Thru the years it has changed to a really weird golden green.I don't know if it was ever considered Inca Silver,but it was silver nonetheless

Actually one of my favorite basses ...
