She lives up in my neck of the woods - she was going to do a solo bass get-together about 30 miles from where I live, but it got cancelled due to a winter storm knocking out the power. She's rescheduling in the summer so I'll be going to that one soon.

Yeah, too funny. I just moved from that area to Nashville, and have played all the venues she's gigging at (from her MySpace page). Cool stuff. Wish I could have met her before moving. I do some solo stuff as well, although not nearly as much as I used to.

i might have to swing up there...i still travel up there from time to time since transferring, so i'll have to find an excuse to go hang...no one ever did a bass get together while i was up there...
