The Lefty Union... Revived!

I think I would be, like half a member. I was left handed, originally, but my first grade teacher was the avenging angel of doom with a ruler every time she saw me use my left hand, so now I'm 'ambi-sinistrous'. I don't know if that's actually a real word, but it means equally clumsy with both hands.

I do most stuff right handed, unless I'm really tired and not paying attention.

Once at a jam session, I was playing mandolin in stead of bass. The paired courses in stead of enormous strings started making my fingers sore, so I flipped the mandolin over and started playing lefty. It wasn't till I saw the shocked looks on the faces of some of the other people playing that I realized that wasn't a normal thing to do.

as a left playing righty i endorse this group. back in the day when i played viola i was forced righty and when i picked up a bass last year it was my natural reaction :bawl:

i request acceptance post haste! :ninja: ;) :D

How's that Warwick I sold you??

Need a Dean acoustic yet?? ;-)

FTR, I'll be recording with your old bass in the new year! It loves being a fretless now!
;)

I feel complete with that instrument. My fretted 4 is still the best, but the 'Wick is great in it's own right. It's nice to have a fretted/fretless choice, especially when they're both excellent basses.

As for the Dean, I'm not sure I'll be able to buy anymore basses this lifetime...but we'll see.

How's the electric URB?

Count me in for the Lefty Union.

When I jam with my room mate (he plays guitar and bass, right handed), we can stand in front of each other and have both guitar and bass pointing the same direction. Looks pretty sweet from what people have told us when they come over while we are jamming.

These guys are ripping off your living room stage move!
