I've decided to.like the like thread. It's cheezy, sleazy and makes me queasy but it's all about the like.

Back in the day many people would post one-word posts in nonsense threads to bump their post count. Paul put a stop to that pretty quick.

Honestly, being unliked isn't all bad. I don't want to be an @-hole but then again, I don't want to be a spineless doormat either. Some of the people I like best here can put on a mean throw down. Even better if they can take it as good as they give it.* I still say "Unlikes received" would be enlightening.Nothing like being liked

Rich lady is walking her fancy French poodle when a homeless guy's little mutt hops on the poodle. The rich lady starts screaming, "make him stop, make him stop". "Sure lady, $5". "Anything, anything". Wetting a finger the homeless guy gives his mutt a quick prostate exam and sure enough, he stops.

Two common methods:
The "tangentially connected". E.g. I say "LED", you could say "Zeppelin or ballon or watch,etc. Whatever works.
The other one is 3-4 word story. E.g.
Me: TB is full
You:And busting at
Me: places unimaginable to
You: Drummers wearing headphones
Me:while eating pizza
You: and playing Nintendo

Still happens from time to time lol. I wouldn't doubt the "like" option was put in place to help offset people making "+1" posts without adding anything else to the conversation.
