It was a nicknamed that was given to me in high school for no reason at all. I wish it meant what all the drunk chicks I've met think it meant...
A few of my law school friends were Latin-American. They combined my given name Edmund, my nickname Ned, and the Spanish "Edmundo" to get "Nedmundo."
my name comes from an old DOS game that was called "scorched earth", and it became my favorite game. That and one of my other favorite games, star wars "republic commando" one of the main characters was called scorch, and he was the explosives expert of the team, and I myself am a bit of a pyro/explosives maniac.

like 11 or 12 years ago (was in 5th or 6th grade) when i first signed up for aol dial up, i wanted the name "tool46and2," because even back then i was a huge fan. that name was taken, so i replaced the word "and" with three zeros. i kept the name because, with 1 or 2 exceptions the name is never taken, on account of the string of numbers after it. its convenient not to have to remember user names for sites i rarely visit.
typodong666 is my alternate name, because i think "typodong," the first north korean nuke, is a funny sounding name, and im immature like that.
