I'll have to admit I know nothing about three dog night, don't recall ever even hearing any of their songs, but this video is excellent. Great tunes, and you sound so into them, excellent performance...and as always, great video work...I love the variety and occasional weirdness of what you choose as visuals.

I was wondering the other day about TBr's I haven't seen around in a while (as well as some whose usernames have the little "ban" strikeout) and you were on my mental list. Always enjoyed your threads over the last decade or so since I joined, and sorry to hear about your condition.

Ramblin' Gamblin' Man came out way back in 1968, and Seger and his band toured endlessly. They couldn't match its success. He told Creem magazine in a 1986 interview: "A lot of people think I wrote 'Beautiful Loser' about myself. I got the idea for that song from a book of Leonard Cohen poetry by the same name. The song was about underachievers in general. I very rarely write about myself that much. I draw on my own experiences like anyone else, but I'm not what you'd call auteuristic. I'm not like my songs at all. I'm a lot more up person than what I write."
It's (in my opinion,) one of the greatest ever written. His breakthrough hit, 1976's "Night Moves" is also arguably one of the greatest songs ever written.
Bob Seger is somewhat, artistically speaking, a victim of his own success. For all the songs he wrote which be considered among the greatest, he has a lot of dogs.
He had among the greatest voices of all time. I always wondered why anyne tried to cover him, because his voice is so distinct, but later on, I actually managed to it myself.

Awesome! I actually had a little gooseflesh going on the arms when you were reaching up on "You Make Me So Very Happy"! The love comes through, @mellowinman! Very powerful.
Following that with "And When I Die" gives that song poignancy that I never appreciated. Of course, I've only heard it a few hundred times before...
