hahaha Gary, ya know me too well.
But this time is is not for a bass...
Just have other things I want, and last bass in, is the one to go up for grabs.
This Lull 54P is truly a gem of a bass.
Wish I could hang onto it

Just picked up this very bass. (Yes it's the same one on the website). Lucky Me!!!!...........I now have two Lull basses. This is the yang to my MV5 yin! Mikes instruments truly inspire me!!!

Found some old photos on a memory drive. Here's my old blonde Lull V4.... the one that got away. And the custom surf green V4 that it inspired me to buy a year after I dumbly sold it.

These two contradict all the prejudices you might have about the bottom end producing abilities of a lightweight ash/maple single coil jazz. The fralin SC's are my favorite J pickups ever. They snarl if you dig in, but always keep that solid low mid meat that keeps air moving in a two guitar band mix.
