I have them on my rosewood board M5V. You can get tapered ones (TB sells B strimgs as singles}, but they're pricey...

I feel lucky to found it .. there are not so much Mike Lull basses here .
Have sended 2 Email to the factory to have infos about my bass ... but no answer yet .. unfortunately

This is what my Lull collection consists of right now... A P4 and a P5. I've owned other Lull basses at one point or another, but I've arrived at just being a P bass guy (for now). So having a P4 with flats and a P5 with rounds fits the bill perfectly.

My P5 recently came back from Mike's shop. Mike set it up with D'Addario ProSteels on it, which is what I'm assuming he uses as his standard string. I had never used those before, but I actually like them quite a bit. Is anyone here using ProSteels on their Lulls?
Mike installed them on my old/new V4. They are ok as SS rounds. But I much prefer nickels lately. And this particular bass was planned with flats in mind, so it's currently strung with TI Jazz
I have been "lulling" it over and I think I am going to place my Mike Lull P5ver Passive on TB after the New Year.
Well, after my love of playing my 55-94 and 55-63 (Active w/Sadowsky VTC preamp) Laklands and LG3005 Roscoe.... I tend to play only active basses and the Lull is just not my thing, so if you guys/gals are wanting to take a dance with my current date, just PM me and I will get you some info.
I tried Pro Steels on both Lulls (at the time...you know those Lulls...
) and they sounded good, but I was missing something in the mids. Might have been just me, but after going back to the Power Slinkies, I was happier with those. I could definitely use the Daddario Nickels if I couldn't find the EBs. But I'm not a stainless (?) steel string kinda guy, I guess. And that's kinda weird, considering how I like bright, wirey sounding basses.
