Yes, I wanted another P necked P4.

Brad doesn’t do 1.5”

Actually all but 3 of my Lulls are 1.5", I like both P and J widths. I just don't do Jazz basses, but I like Jazz necks. Mike's necks are so comfortable and it's really easy for me to switch back and forth between the two widths.

So not to start trouble, but those of us with 5 strings who run the b thru the body, what nickel strings do you use? I got some of the older Sadowsky bright nickels on my maple board M5V at the moment, really digging them but a) they don’t make them in extra long scale any more and b) the taper core isn’t quite long enough.

I like the D’addario NYXL nickel rounds. I don’t think the B is tapered, from my memory
