The most comfortable sit down player ever

Anthony Jackson, Steve Swallow, Jonas Helborg, Gary Willis, me (ha-ha!).

i expected to see Anthony Jackson and not that, um , bass. Saw him once at Blues Alley in DC playing with Mike Stern. Table intimately placed next to stage. Stern within a couple feet all night. Almost hit me with his guitar. Anthony had the most amazing bass faces I’ve seen. But Dave Weckl on drums drew my attention, blew me away.

Bass labeled "Cowboys" featuring an earth-toned fireman executing a cowering, baby-faced skinhead. Of note, there are bullet hole fret markers (some randomly placed), deformed feet and opposite-of-proper-perspective sized spurs priced at $999 on FB Marketplace with a link to Victor Litz Music in Gaithersburg, MD. I checked their website and the bass does not seem to appear in their inventory, so someone may have already snapped up this bargain, historically-themed gem...or they don't want to be associated too closely with this trade.

Looks like flotsam, jetsam, offcuts from a dinner table and some hardware acting as a string stress testing device.

I kind of wonder if this is intended to be played a-la upright “whilst sitting”, or with or more of a (traditional :roflmao:) position.

The brainchild of an eccentric nutty professor?

I look at this and think “Yes, sitting with this will be rewarding as haemmorhoids”.
