I play bass, and I try to play drums/kongas every once in a while. And considering the fact that I use my voice as an instrument..
Late arriving, but I'm in this club, too. Besides bass I also play guitar (electric and acoustic) and keyboard. Used to play upright bass, but it's been awhile, and the old thing is broken right now anyway (neck separated from the body, dangit). I can also play some harmonica, kinda Dylan style. Used to also play clarinet in high school and for awhile in college, majoring in music, until I switched to upright bass. Played a little sax in high school, too. I can play drums enough to get by, but I'm terrible on fills, lol.
The instruments I have made money playing are bass, guitar, and keyboard. Been doing that with bass all the time since 1988. Played just one jazz guitar gig in the last twenty years. Longer than that since I played other stuff in a band on guitar.
I'm loving bass. Oh yes! And I'm just good enough to keep working. Not the best, though, nope.

I learned how to play reeds in school. About ten years ago I started messing with guitar to play with the girlfriend at the time. Then my church needed a bass player when ours graduated and I finally answered the call.
Bass, guitar, trombone, drums (sucky) and piano (more sucky).
Future instrumental pursuits:
Banjo, uke, baritone, tuba, harmonica and baritone guitar.

A couple of years before I even considered learning the bass, I took up keyboard lessons (which eventually became piano lessons). Took up the bass guitar once all my friends began to take up the guitar, then a couple of years later I decided I might as well get the hang of the guitar as well. Picked up the blues harmonica somewhere along the way, then taught myself to play drums so that I could teach my sister how to play. Acquired a didgeridoo and an alto saxophone as well, both of which would need a lot of work before I'd play them in public.
And then I was about 20 before people suggested I should sing. Five years on I think I'm gradually getting the hang of that one...
