The Musician's Nightmare

i had a dream where these 3 guys kept breaking into my house to steal my gear & every time they came i beat the h3ll out of them. i mean like really bad beatings too, but they kept coming back. i was freaked cause they never relented the attack until i woke up.

... that I get into a car accident and get my fret hands mangled and severed a-la Rick Allen from Def Leppard. When I'm driving, I still get antsy hanging my right arm out the window because of that thought.

Wait... if you live in California and you have your right arm out the window, it must either be a long arm or you cross it over your body... right?

Had a dream I was playing for an arena of people. I must have been high or something, because I couldn't get my bass in tune (this isn't normal for someone with perfect pitch...) and then while playing my strings started breaking one by one. Didn't have a backup, everything was my fault and the crowd started leaving. Then my girlfriend was getting in a Vette with some Asian dude and leaving me.

Woke up everything was fine...just no arena gig lol.

I have this recurring nightmare where I'm on stage and my rig won't go loud enough to keep up with the guitar player, plus when I try to sing the monitors are white-out loud so I can't tell what pitch I'm singing...

No wait, I tell a lie, that's just my normal cover band gig.

I had a dream last night I opened a draw in my room and there was a fretless bass in there. The wierd part, it was active, 5 string and was bubinga. It had a stratocaster-style output jack, also bubinga. Crazy dream.

I used to dream I had a beautiful white Rickenbacker, 4001 with gold hardware, leaning up against a mint 70s Ampeg SVT stack. When I woke up, I looked around and saw Fenders and Acoustics.
