You mean there's more to stopping a guy from scoring than simply not showering?The machine needs some serious calibration if he thinks that going under double screens is a smart way to guard Ray Allen.

I'm not a huge Celtics fan but as a Basketball fan, you have to respect and appreciate their legacy. (Similar to the NY Yankees, the Chicago Bears, or the Montreal Canadiens.)
Kudos to KG and Ray Allen for coming in as new players yet understanding and respecting that legacy. Being a Boston Celtic is something special -- these guys understood that and handled their business accordingly.
This year's Celts are a heck of a team and very worthy champions!

That was a disappointing end to the series. The Laker D was abysmal. I couldn't believe I was watching a finals game.

One glaring detail that I noticed in that game was that Kobe sat on the bench for a very long time in the second half. That's when I new the Lakers conceded the series to Boston.
I'm very glad the Celtics didn't take their foot off the gas. The entire team stayed focused and energized for the entire 48 minutes. Congrats to the Celts!

Has anyone noticed that whenever someone is playing against the Celtics and they are fouled and take an after-shot, a Celtic comes up and swats the basketball to ensure that they don't make it. Perhaps this is a psychological ploy because I have never seen KG or Posey do that before on the previous teams they have played for. I just think it's genius because it can totally mess up a player's groove when they are already doing bad, yet are taking some shots to get back into a better feel of things.
I have noticed that. I heard one of the commentators say that it was KGs thing and that other Celtics started to do it too. It probably is a psychological/intimidation sort of thing.
I've noticed it. It irritates the crap out of me just like it does when Tim Duncan walks up to the ref and grabs the ball after shooting a free throw as if he is inspecting it, only to then walk back to the line and wait for the ball.
