Andyman - Sorry, I just caught the "********" remark and it has been removed. My apologies for not catching it the first time through. BTW, this is one of the very reasons why this topic is moderated very tightly. It always generates these type of remarks.

Hawkeye and Andyman - I explained the reasons why in my first post. I, nor any mod, should have to come in every Ampeg thread that discusses the "new" Ampeg and moderate/delete posts. I don't like doing it and neither do the other mods. Just like with other topics at TB like politics, religion, drugs, sex, Behringer, etc. we have to moderate them to death or some times just flat out ban them (politics) because of the problems they create. We are also here to help head things off when we know there will be problems. Yes, it is censorship. However, this is what our job entails. We can almost guarantee a thread is going to cause a problem by it's title. That is how predictable it is in the Amps forum.

Paul is the guy to talk to if you can't resolve an issue with a moderator. It is his board and has the ultimate authority on any issue.

As to the facts at hand, why keep beating a dead horse on the Vietnam/China/Ampeg thing? If you talk about American jobs and such it is political and against the rules. If it's just because you don't like Chinese or Vietnamese people then it's racisism and that's not allowed. If you don't like their governments then that's political. If you don't like how coroporate America is sending American jobs overseas then, again, it is political.
If it is because there is evidence to show that the product is inferior, then by all means, talk about it. Unfortunately this is a fairly new development and the products are just now starting to show up. Do you guys have any first hand experience with the new overseas products to give your opinion on? If so, please share it otherwise I can't see any reason for dragging up the same heated issue time and again.
As to not let this thread be derailed any further, please PM if you would like to continue this discussion. I'm always open to listening to TB members and will try to adjust, fix, adapt, or change in any way to make TB a better forum. If you feel you can't do that with me please contact Paul.

Kelly Lee
