The New Epiphone Thunderbird Pro V

god,my jaw dropped to the floor when i saw these things.i want to try one so bad..and to think i just got my regular epi T almost exactly a year ago..and im tempted to save up for this already.wow.thank god they got them in 5 strings now though,so now everyone can get one

I live in Nashville and am an Epiphone Endorser. I just visited the plant and they say it will be another couple of months before they receive them from overseas. That means about 3-4 months before you will see them in the stores or online. BUMMER.

ugh :rollno:.thats going to be a tough wait, but hey i guess i can save up money for it for the time being.then ill be able to get it as soon as it comes out.

gosh... I want that one-pickup beast badly....

Funny you should re-post this today, I was by Mike's shop to drop off a chrome bridge cover and a hand rest for my bass, it's due back from the painter in about 10-12 days.
Meantime here's the black prototype just before it left the shop.
Beautiful bass!

As cool as they look, I'm gonna have to play one of these epibird pro basses before I get one...
I love my alder+bolt-on tone, so the standard epibird has been the only one that has worked for me. Love it to death. <3

:bassist:

so they update an american classic and ruin it in the process by making it active. great.

they really need to stop this. or at least give the option of picking electronics at the factory. make 2 models even like they did with the epiphone prophecy guitars.

what a shame.. a 5 string t-bird sounds really cool.

An Epiphone - an American classic?

This is not cool, I just bought a normal Epi T-Bird not to long ago, now THIS?!?

I want the Translucent Black one, badly.

You can never have too many Thunderbirds :)

For the money these look cool, since I don't own a Fiver........there could be one of those out there with my name on it.
