Well, I've made it. I intentionally didn't post for the past few days so that I could wait until I had an opportunity to use my 1,000th post (and the resulting 1,000-post tenure) to contribute something substantive...then I pulled my head out of my butt.

Anyone remember the SNL skit where Tom Hanks was inducted into the "Five-Timers Club" for hosting his fifth SNL? Only 4,000 more posts to go...
