Really? Later we are going back to my future brother in laws house in swickley. I'm going out at the bars there later, see if I can find crosby and piss on his shoes. lol. We drove by the house earlier, they would not let me get out, I wanted to hang my flyer shirt on his gate. They are penguins fans, every familys got the strange ones I guess. Breaks his heart his little sister is now a flyers fan.
No, but I sure wish I could be there. I can't even talk about the NHL around here anymore without someone threatening to find Tim Thomas and slash his tires.

Well then this thread has changed for the most part we all get along. Not when the pens and flyers were playing but thats expected. Lol. I miss my flyers, when is preseason again?
Not soon enough. Even though the draft is in PIT, I won't pay too much attention to it. Next big day for me is the first day of free agency. Always fun to see who goes where.
I did read that Jagr is now trying to work a deal to stay in Philly after coming out right after the playoffs and acting like he didn't know if he wanted to stay. That would be cool if he stayed in PHI.

Anyone think the Kings might be sweating just a bit, now that the Devils have won two straight and seem to have found their game? Of course, the Kings are totally capable of winning Game 6, but we all know that Game 7 is the sports world equivalent of the Wild Wild West, and if the Kings lose Game 6, any advantage they once had is (mental or otherwise) is totally out the window...

I'm just glad it wasn't a sweep, but it does feel weird watching NHL games approaching mid June.

Wings trade the rights to Brad Stuart (FA) for the rights to Andrew Murray and a seventh round pick to San jose.
Well that leaves the Wings with two slots in the D to fill. I liked Stuart but I felt is was kind of classy that they honored his request to get back to CA to finish his career.
The one thing I am surprised is that the NHL allows trades to occur during the finals. Most leagues don't because they feel it gives a disadvantage to the teams that are still participating in the Cup.

I'm surprised at that as well. I've always felt that the trade freeze shoudl continue on throughout the playoffs through the Cup Finals. Let the teams go crazy the day after the Cup is awarded and not before.

Whoa, just saw this stat on the NBC ticker...last team to win the SC at home was the 2007 Ducks.
