I think the distinct kicking rule is legitimate and have no issue with it. This isn't soccer and although deflections and bounces can happen, if you are actively trying to use your skate to kick in a puck then that's not a hockey play in my eyes.
I do wonder with last night, couldn't Neil have been called for goalie interference though? He was clearly in the crease and restricting Lundqvist's ability to make the save. It seems like Neil's skate, which may not have hit the puck, was certainly affecting Henrik's glove hand. Either way.... I just found it curious.
I'm not much of a Devils fan, but I'd like to see them win the series. You never know when it may be Brodeur's last season. He has made some questionable plays during that series as well... age may be getting the best of him.

I finally watched the controversial goal from the Sens Rangers game. The NBC analyst is pretty adamant about there being interference on Lundqvist, but I don't really see how.

He "shuffleboards" Lundqvist with his stick as he's kicking at the puck. Lundqvist's pads are on the ice and he gets spun and dirtected away from the puck as he's trying to tie it up. To me, that's blatant inteference, but it must be seen by the Refs; it cannot be reviewed.

Same thing for LA vs. St. Louis. Some are predicting the first game to be a score of 0 to -1.

Lord, I hate TSN. Gossipy friggin crap. One breath of Luongo willing to waive his no-trade clause (which is a "story" they created in the first place) and now they're doing segments on possible teams he will be traded to. What a damn cheese-fest.
New Jersey looks like they're not quite ready to go home yet (even though they're playing at home haha). Really pushing hard on Clemmensen.

He just looks a little lethargic. He has made decent saves, but is giving up a lot of second opportunities from a lack of puck awareness.
If the Devils can continue getting shots on goal they'll break though again. Defense just needs to hold up.
Man.. Upshall just started decking Bernier while he was on the ground after a minor scrum in front of the net.
You guys (and Chicago) are in a different timezone than us. Most late games on the coast are over just after midnight here, as oposed to between 1 and 2 AM.
