tell me friend , what wood is it? ...3 or 5 pcs neck? and fretboard??

The body wood is alder, with a Bubinga finish
3 peice neck
rosewood fretboard

i think these are great 'base' basses , meaning that the ''frame'' is good but could use new electronics

imagine a brice with armstrong ups and 18v circuit board...a Ken Brice is born..loll

Lookin to pick up a 6 string fretless soon. Can't beat the price and have heard good things. If anyone has any sound clips/vids, I'd love to hear em!

Gosh, after seeing some of the other colors here I wish I would have gone with blue or red.

Pasdabear, these basses compare pretty well with a schector and some other basses i have played out there. I personally think these things are a steal

ive been thinking about getting back into 6ers, and schecher (sp) was one of the ones i was lookin towards.

Does anyone other than Rondo sell them in the US? And do they make a lined fretless? I'm not good enough at fretless to play without frets, and not comfortable spending a fortune on a fretless I dunno how to play properly.

sure you could do that but I was actually quite impressed with the electronics that came with this bass. I have the fretless with the flatwound strings that came with it. Sounds sweet for what it is. Maybe one of the guys who have the fretted bass came fill you in on what theirs sound like with round wounds.

This is sweet. I love the red with gold hardware! Where did you find tapewounds for a 6 string? I couldn't find them anywhere. (just 4 or 5)
