I just hit 210lbs on my squats the other day, that was one of my goals for the summer. I started the summer off squatting 160.

Last september - 415 pounds
today 347...
Had to slow down past few months due to leg injury and blood clot... couldn't do lifting or cardio at all... today is first day i am going back to gym... let's see how my legs does....
Is this what you lift or what you weigh? If it is what you lift, sorry for your loss. If it is your weight, congrats!

I wouldn't. What happens if you pop your hamstring![]()
I figure I could chime in on this, last night I did legs...
20 min warm up on eliptical
Leg press - Pyramid style started with 1 plate on each side adding 2 to each side until reaching 9 plates on each side. 10 reps each ending with 8 @ 810lbs.
Front leg extentions - pyramid starting at 130 adding 30lbs each ending at 275 10 reps each
Rear leg - same pyramid starting at 130 ending at 250
Calf's - pyramid starting at 1 plate ending with 5 plates.
Then did some ab work.
27 6'4 215-220 but still kinda soft around the mid section, I just love bad food too much.
Tonight is mountian biking on some trails.
I've been doing more deadlifts too. I'm on 310 for reps and 330 single, limiting problem isn't my back or legs, anything heavier and my grip gives up the ghost (refuse to use straps)![]()

Get some of those things you squeeze for grip strength. They worked wonders for me. I do them in between sets of other things. Or you could start doing fingertip chin-ups, I never close my grip on chin-ups and it has added some grip strength.
My max bench has actually gone down this summer, but because I am using better form, I am getting the results that I want. Just goes to show that better results come from better form, not more weight.

Too true, better form = faster gains.
Poor form makes you:
A) Look like a douche
B) Increases the chance on injury dramatically
C) Isn't going to increase your strength anywhere near as quickly!
