This may be too niche to be helpful, but my Elwood C 30" scale bass fits perfectly in a Sire M3/M7 gig bag. If anyone's looking for a walled, semi-rigid gig bag for their shorty.

That is actually good to know, I was just looking at smaller gig bags for another instrument that is shorter scale. This may be too niche to be helpful, but my Elwood C 30" scale bass fits perfectly in a Sire M3/M7 gig bag. If anyone's looking for a walled, semi-rigid gig bag for their shorty.

Was the Maruszczyk gig bag that came with your shortscale bass smaller?
The Marusczcyk/Mensinger standard gig bag that came my Elwood L short scale and Cazpar seems like it is for the 30" & 32" short/medium scales but to small for 34" . It has around 43.5" of space in it. My 30"Cazpar is almost 41" total length. something much smaller will probably be needed for your headless Cazpar build.![]()
I need a guitar gig bag for my 30" headless Elwood as their gig bag 'headless' is too large for it!
Do you have a pic of your headless Elwood? I would really like to see it...Never seen one.![]()
I hope it will be of use to anyone who likes the purple colour.
Elwood in the couch shot is a matte "Bishop" color.
I think it is slightly different from what the configurator shows.
But this reddish purple is also cool!
In Japan, it's called "Azuki-iro" or "Ebi-iro".
P.S. My swamp ash body isn't 1P.

Yeah that's fantastic! This popped up on my facebook feed and makes me very happy with the color scheme for my new bass (8 weeks now, so hopefully i'm halfway there).
I went with turquoise / quilted maple top / maple neck / chrome hardware / Delano pickups on a frog, so it's not quite the same, but it gets close enough to want my future bass even more.

My Elwood C has a matte maple neck and fretboard, I usually clean my Player Jazz (gloss finish) with Dunlop Formula 65 and Dr. Duck's Ax Wax. Are these products also good for a matte neck/fretboard? Sorry for the question, but this is my first bass with a non-highly polished maple fretboard.
My luthier says the Dr. Ducks is safe for any finish. He uses it on everything in his shop. Not sure about the 65 but if you put the Dr Ducks on, let it sit for a few minutes, and then polish really well it should get it nice and clean too.My Elwood C has a matte maple neck and fretboard, I usually clean my Player Jazz (gloss finish) with Dunlop Formula 65 and Dr. Duck's Ax Wax. I think its safe...Not to sure about the Ax Wax as I have never used it yet. I use to use Warwick Wax on my unfinished neck backs. Dunlop products should be fine for your matte neck & fingerboard. I use the Music Nomad products..I like them. I will spray the Music Nomad Guitar One polish on my Matte maple neck/fingerbord (just a tiny bit on the cleaning cloth) when I am polishing the body and no issues![]()

Just got my couch shot for this beauty. Super excited to get this one home since I actually have a backlog of fretless tracks that need tending to!
