I'm guessing brass like the bridge is, but alloy is possible. Since there is a zero fret, it's not your witness point.

Here's my new Headless Frog that I recieved from Spain on Friday. Just got home from band rehearsal and can say without a shadow of a doubt that I am very happy with this purchase! Super ergonomic and comfortable. Very versatile tone and cut through the mix with ease.

Whoa! That's gorgeous. Are all the headstocks like that? I don't think I've noticed one so narrow.
Can I ask how long it took? As of tomorrow I'm 2 weeks into my wait.
I think that's the standard headstock for the 4 string. My bass took just over 2 months from deposit to couch pic. Pretty good!

Nice Delanos, is it active or passive?
That's the standard headstock for the Cazpar, I've seen others that have requested the Joker headstock as an alternative which is a bit larger.
Mine is passive. The pickups are PVMC FE/M2. Also I requested the lefty pickups which they did 
Those headstocks always make me think of a cyclops.
Still a beautiful bass though.
My top is Koa. Originally it was spec'd as Carribean Rosewood, but Adrian suggested Koa and sent me a few pics. This is the one I picked - looks great to me.
I added a 3 band Glockenklang preamp to my 30" Koa Jake P. Just got my stacked flamed Maple knobs today and put them on. It sounded good as passive but wanted some more tones out of it. So far I really like this Glock pre. 
Standing in for a friend's band at a gig next week, so learned 12 songs or so since Friday for a practice last night. It wasn't until half way through that I realised how nice it was to be able to focus on the songs without having to fight against a bass at the same time.
Playability, comfort, balance, the rolled fingerboard edges, the sound, everything combined means I didn't even notice the bass itself until I actively thought about it. That feels like it's about the biggest compliment I can pay Maruszczyk.
