My Pi-Frog has 19mm spacing. It's not so bad. I am looking at a 30" bass with 16.5mm spacing at the moment. Not sure if I can deal with that close though.That sounds cool (other than that super wide string spacing) and nice top selection!
So will the pickup placement be similar to the Purple Frog he has up for sale?
Yeah 19mm feels like the Grand Canyon to me
I realize most 4s are this way (I sold all of my 4s long ago). 
Beautiful Top! I'm trying to get lighter color woods because I tend to wear black and the contrast looks better in Photos. Especially if the lighting is bad.
Well, you know like they say here on Talk Bass ‘show the pictures or it didn’t happen’. Here are some pictures of the beautiful Warwick Bubinga basses I have owned and one I still own. I think TKs selection of Bubinga top is a good one.
Yes, Wenge in my experience is one of the best both for necks and finger boards. They’re very stable, don’t require much truss adjustment if ever and feel really good to play on. I currently have four basses with a combination of Wenge necks and or finger boards, my Cazpar has a Wenge fingerboard and just love it
it’s not the flashiest wood from a figuring or color standpoint, but it sure makes for a great neck and finger board from playability, sound and feel. That wall of Warwick basses (that I had at one point) are all Wenge finger boards!

Has anyone noticed that in the Jazzus configurator, headless isn't an option? But I've seen at least one example of a headless Jazzus (I know the Frog seems to be the headless "go to" but I prefer the styling of the Jazzus by quite a bit).
One other thing I'm sure Adrian would do as I've seen a few pics of it, but it's not an option in the configurator -- doing wooden inlays. I think it looks so classy to have stripe or block inlays that match your body top. I'm guessing it may not be in the configurator because maybe certain fingerboards wouldn't take it well, ie, Wenge is brittle so maybe it wouldn't be a good candidate? I dunno, I'm spitballing here.
Now that y'all got me thinking about a Bubinga top (lol), I think the contrast between a dark board like ebony or wenge with Bubinga inlays would look super choice. Conversely, having a lighter olive or maple board with something like ziricote or walnut burl would be over the top cool.
Or -- bear with me here -- go for a low contrast look. Subtle. Like a maple board with olive inlays. Or Ebony with Rosewood inlays.
I gotta stop. I'm driving myself crazy because I'm still at least a year out from doing a custom order. Ugh! I'll live vicariously through you all in 2023

Is there a way to expand it so the curve is centered with the width of the FB but the two dots straddle the A string evenly?I decided to add a custom Abalone 12th fret Bass Clef marker to my shorty Mr Tee build. Not sure what the extra cost will be but I like the idea and I think it will look nice. Made a little mock-up and example to have Randy send to Adrian.
