Hey there, the nut is on the dot 1.5" just checked with tape a moment ago. I've ended up with a second one now, the necks are not great on either of them, truss rod is decent but the fretwork is very cheap. I intended to swap the neck over but the necks aren't bolted in consistently so the necks don't align with each others body screws.

I've read some TBer's have had some fun and success with these, but having had two of them end up as lemons I would ask people to avoid them. I got them both very cheap so I've not made a massive loss, I may keep one of the bodies and keep an eye out for an after market medium scale neck.

There both finished in glitter pink, its so OTT and garish I love it.

Rockin the 32" P I got a couple weeks ago. it's amazing. probably the best P i've ever owned and there's been a handful. super light, I threw a Stellartone Tonestyler and a hipshot bridge, the original pickup is gonna get swapped out but already sounds great. Looking for a medium jazz if anyone's seen anything

....That Ampeg rig must move some serious air... it doesn't get any better than that setup..especially with the punch of a medium scale...I hope you/we will have a chance to do gigs again and use our fantastic gear..I've been lucky to have had a few great festivals

I like natural roasted Ash also but this body was an in stock item and the body was only 3lb 2oz so I snagged it :cool:

I like the 32" necks a lot. 1.5" nut and kinda c shaped neck so not to thin and I ended up going with 6230 (vintage sized frets) :thumbsup:

Wow - I'm considering a warmoth jazz fretless build in medium scale - there are not that many options out there for a medium fretless - how would you rate the overall build quality and weight compared to ??? probably a hard to answer question - but any opinion regarding warmoth is appreciated prior to making the decision ...

the warmoth stuff I've seen in general is great. Not your typical 2 hours of 'fitting' cheapo kit garbage, and easily on par with fenders typical output. BUT you have to know what you want, and if you don't, follow a tried and true 'formula' of woods that work for you.

Love the build quality of the Warmoth Bodies and Necks. Like @radapaw said as long as you know exactly what you want and the types of woods you want. Seems like if you want to keep the weight down then go for the Roasted woods like Roasted Swamp Ash for a body wood and roasted Maple for the neck wood. Regular weight would be Alder or ash body with regular maple neck and rosewood, maple or ebony fretboard...Just stay away from Walnut bodies and rosewood necks or you will end up with an 11+ lb bass...lol Then there are fret sizes to think about...List is endless :cool: Nothing but good things to say about Warmoth stuff though.

well - that's what I heard so far anyway. Thanks a lot -always good to hear another opinion and I might jump on a warmoth fretless build pretty soon, stay tuned for news on that ...
