I played one of those at the store the other day and I loved it. The heel joint was smooth and sexy. Could've jammed on it all day.
Here's pics of two of mine...
G&L L2000 Circa early 90's (Serial # implies a build between 1989-1992, still researching this).
Ibanez SR505 (My current "Go To" bass, but will maybe soon take a back seat....
I also have a Tobias Growler (there's a picture of me playing it over in the "What do you look like" thread).
And I have Both Mexi Fender Jazz & P-Basses (I'd say of the 2, I like the Jazz better...but I'm not going to bother with a picture of either). The Jazz is black with a black pearloid pickguard, the P-bass is White on white.

I see a Digitech BP-50 effects thingy there, I have the same. Are you using yours much and what is your favorite presets?

Thanks guys. I do love the neck-through on this bass. It really feels like a quality instrument. Very well made. Mahogany body, heavy duty bridge, nice thin neck. I'm just not sure about the tone yet. It sounds a little hollow. I'm going to try it with my band this weekend and see how it sounds. It's really hard to judge a bass truly by just playing at home.
And Jorden, I've never been a fan of Ibanez in the past, but the more experience I get with different basses these days the more I really appreciate them.
J I put the output jack where the tone knob goes and G... no I just hit it in the cavity

Picked this one up today but not certain yet if I'm going to keep it. Sounds very different from anything I have but it's a little heavier than I wanted. Very nice neck and build quality is excellent.

Middle row: Ken Rose 5-string (probably 605, can't remember the model nr), Yamaha BBN4 fretless, Ken Rose acoustic
Bottom row: OLP guitar, Yamaha BB414 (my main player, amazing bass)

I *hate* this thread...It always makes me wish I wasn't 17, and had a lot more money!
I got a job and was able to pay for whatever I wanted. Bought a car that will last through college too. Every time you get a little money just put it in a savings account and before long you will have enough to buy whatever bass you want.
Can't wait til then...but for now, it's just "WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT CAN'T AFFORD WANT WANT!"
