It's only $50 or something, and installing is as easy as frying an egg

I installed a set of 75RI pickups in my Squier CV jazz bass, and it's the best playing and sounding bass I own. Now if it only weighed about 2 pounds less.

I was contemplating ashtrays but since I palm mute for a few songs at church its a no go

this is the first of the basses I plan to Frakenstein
My fretless P/J is up next on the operating table

Why palm mute when you can stick foam under the cover? Thats what I do, and it sounds killer. Plus, muting with a cover can be done, it just takes finesse. Believe me, I know.

That thing looks killer though man!

because I only do it for a few songs
then switch back to regular style
also for one song I do palm mute for the verse, pickstyle for the chorus
and fingerstyle for the outro LOL

No sir,

They were Mij, cij or mim (can't remember) and it was alder with a flamed maple top. It came in only 2 colors that I know of, cherry burst and nat

I'm not 100% sure so don't quote me
