waiting on a Jazz profile maple board neck coming in on Monday
and I have to toothpick a few holes here and there and redrill
I was contemplating ashtrays but since I palm mute for a few songs at church its a no go

this is the first of the basses I plan to Frakenstein
My fretless P/J is up next on the operating table

will post pics when the bass is finally assembled

Is that a Will Power P/Ultra Jazz configuration, there?

its pretty much a stock Squier Precision Special with a GFS hot pickup in the neck position
I put a new guard on the body but the old pickup covers were a lot bigger than the standard cutouts so I had those flush covers lying around and badda bing we're in business

Im still on the fence on the pickups
they are pretty neat. The way they are currently wired up
I get an almost Clavinet sound ( Stevie Wonder's "Superstition")
when I dime both pickups BUT when I roll off the Jazz pickup a tad I get this sweet mix of a thumpy P that still cuts through on the highs. When I roll off the Jazz pickup completely I get a very passable vintage P bass sound.

I just wish the output was a little louder
seems a tad more quiet than my MIA Jazz

Hello, I'm new here so I wonder why not post my first post here! So here are my basses, nothing fancy, I've got the student-syndrome you know!

G&L L-2000 Tribute LH and Ibanez GSR200 LH, EB Super Slinky on both of them.
And I got an Ampeg Ba115HP too but I've it at the rehearsal place!
