Lots of nice cracks and dents and stuff. ;-)
Yes, the stripes are a bit thinner than usual. This is from Feb. '69, probably one of the first batches.

Did you ever notice how Eagles pictures are always awesome, too? Its not fair I tell you! ;)

I need to get pics up of my Squiers current state. A few things changed. The FL neck still isnt here, but the body itself took a few upgrades.

Thanks guys. I'm loving the color too. I have always wanted a seafoam green bass, so when the chance to get this one popped up, I couldn't resist. Now I have to decide what color pick guard to put on it, or whether to just leave it white.

Pearl, or that sweet yellowed/aged pearl would just look killer on it, really would.

I like pearl on translucent blue, but against the rosewood fingerboard… I'm not sure. The aged pearl might work if it's got enough brown in it. I actually thought about abalone, but that might be just too much.

Yeah, I'd think the abalone would be too much, honestly.

This is the pearl,

Not much in the way of brown really.

I could take the one off my Squier jazz and compare them. That's the only jazz bass I have here it home right now.

EDIT: Won't work. Neck pocket is different and the standard PG is too long at the top. Though possibly a standard one could be filed and made to fit.

Eh, the Squier ones don't fit on Fender either, so it might be even trickier.

Here's a crappy picture of the Squier PG laying on top of the Sadowsky. You can kind of get an idea of what it might look like though. I can't take a good picture with indoor light with this camera no matter what I do.

I see, only the neck pocket is out really, and I'll say one thing, I'm usually pretty anti-tort, but it looks just sweet on that bass!
