I just went for my first lesson ever yesterday so I don't think I'm at a good position to judge the tone and all. Only thing I can say about it is that I feel comfortable holding it.
Oh, and I'm thinking of changing the pickguard. Any suggestions? Seems like the common option for CAR basses is white pearl.

White pearl with CAR works. So does black pearl. It's up to you.
Also, thanks for the RD pictures although they are awfully dark. I'm not asking for you to take more though.

Yeah, the iphone has no flash.. I updated my picture tho, I put a lamp next to it instead, lol.
Not a new bass, but a new pickguard color. I spray painted it with the hammered copper. Can't decide if I like it or not, but it's different. 
Hm.. I dont know Eagle. I like it, but I dont know if I like it enough to keep it.

I'd be afraid to put something on there since this is paint. I'm afraid it would scrape off.

Left to right 1976 Fireglo Ric, 1980 Azure Blue Ric, Odyssey Cherryburst, Warwick Fortress Flashback light red stain, Lakland Skyline Duck Dunn CAR, 2009 Lakland USA Duck Dunn metallic teal, 1966 Fender P-Bass Fiesta red refin, 1962 Fender Olympic white Jazz RI, 1997 Jazz Bass, Yamaha Attitude X, Bassstar Quilt top. On the floor Epi Jack Cassidy and a Kubicki Factor Bass.
My main players are the Laklands, the Bassstar, the 1966 P-Bass and the 1962 Jazz RI. I run the through a Gk 700RB II and an Orange 4X10.

This is my first post. Hi guys!
First, my MIM Fender Jazz with warmoth neck and pickguard, Bart pups, and Hipshot trem bridge and tuners. It's been through some stuff, and begs for more!

Second, here's my Roscoe SKB3006. Spanish cedar body, quilted maple top, maple neck with purpleheart stripe, spalted purpleheart fingerboard, hipshot hardware and bart pups:
Here's my bass. I love this instrument. Body and neck by Warmouth. Pickups are Aero J4 Type 1. Neck is fretless with markers.
